Inspiring Transformation

In an age where so many people are hurting and searching for the key to their happiness, keys and tools for transformation are a gift. This month I had the privilege of watching a movie that shows how simple transformation can be. (Simple but not necessarily easy). This docudrama titled \”People v. The State of Illusion, speaks to the science and power of the imagination in a compelling and informative way. Scientific America called the film \”compelling\” and \”informative\” on the psychological processes necessary to change people’s lives.

It was written and produced by a lawyer turned coach Austin Vickers. He created this transformational movie which shows that what we believe to be real is really an illusion. Our external reality is merely a reflection of our inner reality. Trying to change elements of our outer world without changing our inner world is like trying to change the reflection in the mirror from a frown to a smile. Our lives merely reflect our perceptions.

And if that is the case, then why not create an illusion that is empowering and inspiring?

What is the particular illusion you would prefer to live in? What is relevant and exciting to you?  If money was not an issue and being realistic was not a limitation- what would your life look life?  What would be the next step towards following your bliss?

For me it is about inspiring transformation in others. Watching, learning and sharing the wisdom of thought leaders. He is one of many I hope to share with you in the future. I leave you with this: What illusion would inspire and empower you? Look to your passions and excitement for clues and start imagining that.
